Whitmire participates in Greek Comedy

On April 23 and 25, 2015, Holly Whitmire from Northland Pioneer College participated in the Greek comedy "Women of Congress," featuring women of Athens striving to taking over the male-dominated government in ancient Greece.

"Although the idea of performing a play that is over two thousand years old might bring on visions of old-fashioned, out-dated story plots, I think the actors have been surprised to find that the issues and politics of ancient Greece are not so different than the issues we still face today. And better yet, the comedy is hilarious," said Lisa Jayne, artistic director for the White Mountain Regional Theater.
