Hamilton Inducted Into PTK Honor Society

Moira Hamilton, student at Northland Pioneer College (NPC) was inducted into the Alpha Gamma Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society of two-year college students. The ceremony was Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at NPC's Snowflake/Taylor - Silver Creek Campus Performing Arts Center.

To be eligible for Phi Theta Kappa, Hamilton completed a minimum of 12 credits of associate degree course work and earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students must maintain a high academic standing throughout their enrollment at NPC. PTK members are eligible for scholarship programs, and in some cases, distinguished placement at four-year colleges and universities.
