Cary Pearson named to 2016 All-AZ Academic Team

Cary Pearson of Snowflake is one of 15 Northland Pioneer College students named to the 2016 All-Arizona Academic Team.

Pearson, who is working on an AS degree at NPC, plans to major in Computer Information at NAU. Cary is representing SCC on this year's team.

As a member of the All-Arizona Academic Team Pearson will receive a tuition waiver from the Arizona Board of Regents, for up to 60 credits, to complete a bachelor's degree. NPC will also award a scholarship, based on team placement by national judges. Arizona first team members are automatically considered for the All-USA Academic Team, with additional scholarship opportunities.

NPC's team members will join over 60 other team members from throughout the state at an awards luncheon in Mesa, Arizona on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
