Ariel Shirley named to 2016 All-AZ Academic Team

Ariel Shirley of Holbrook is one of 15 Northland Pioneer College students named to the 2016 All-Arizona Academic Team.

Shirley, who is working on an AA degree at NPC, plans to major in Political Science/Law at UofA. Ariel is representing PDC on this year's team.

As a member of the All-Arizona Academic Team Shirley will receive a tuition waiver from the Arizona Board of Regents, for up to 60 credits, to complete a bachelor's degree. NPC will also award a scholarship, based on team placement by national judges. Arizona first team members are automatically considered for the All-USA Academic Team, with additional scholarship opportunities.

NPC's team members will join over 60 other team members from throughout the state at an awards luncheon in Mesa, Arizona on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
