Alexandra Uqualla Wins SGA Laptop Scholarship

Northland Pioneer College [NPC] student Alexandra Uqualla of Kykotsmovi, AZ has been awarded the Student Government Association [SGA] Laptop Scholarship. The scholarship aims to fill a need for a personal laptop to assist NPC students in their studies and progression towards a degree. Uqualla won the laptop by entering an essay about personal and educational goals along with school and community involvement. Commenting on the scholarship, SGA President Che' Shockey said, "It's great to help students have their own laptop...I've heard horror stories of papers being lost on flash drives or students staying late at the library so this scholarship is a great opportunity to help students who are giving their best at NPC."
